Day 1 - Sunday - 3 August - Sydney:
We welcome you at the airport and then transfer you to
your hotel. This morning we will begin a walking tour through the city and its
major attractions. We will visit the Botanical Gardens, the Opera House and
Circular Quay. In the afternoon we cruise across the magnificent harbour to
visit the seaside suburb of Manly and its surf beach. Returning late in the
afternoon we see the setting sun silhouette the city skyline and the majestic
Harbour Bridge.
(Note: Hotel check-in is 14:00, but for those who wish immediate access
to their room can do this by paying pre-registration at the cost of: 55 euros
pp. in twin share with breakfast included)

Day 2 - Monday - 4 August - Sydney:
A free day for you to choose what ever you like. Options: Visit the Darling
Harbour area, see the native animals at Wildlife World, enjoy the fantastic
Sydney Aquarium, ride the mono-rail, visit the historic Rocks area or enjoy the
views of the city from the heights of Centre Point Tower. Buffet Breakfast
· Day 3 - Tuesday - 5 August -
Sydney: A free day for you to choose
what ever you like. Options: Visit the many wonderful museums or art galleries,
enjoy the many shopping areas and arcades of the city or take a day tour to the
beautiful Blue Mountains and the animal parks to view some of Australia
wildlife.

· Day 4 - Wednesday - 6 August - Sydney to Ayers
Rock: We leaving the city behind this morning and fly into Australia's
Red Centre. This afternoon we travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and visit
the Uluru. Here we walk along the Mala Walk to view ancient paintings and sacred
sites. There will be time for a walk around the base or a climb up (the
traditional owners would prefer that you do not climb). We then travel to the
sunset viewing area to marvel at itīs awesome grandeur and watch as the setting
sun cast its colours across "The Rock".

· Day 5 - Thursday - 7 August - Ayers Rock to Kings
Canyon: Today we get up early to watch the sunrise on "The Rock". We also
visit the Aboriginal cultural centre for an insight into the spiritual
significance of this area for the local people. We then travel to the
spectacular formation known as “The Olgas” to walk the valley of the Winds. This
afternoon we view Mt. Conner and travel through cattle country on our way to Watarraka National Park. (430 Km.)

· Day 6 - Friday - 8 August - Kings Canyon to Alice
Springs: A 4 hour walk this morning allows us plenty of time to explore
the magnificent Kings Canyon. The striking rock formations of the "Lost City"
and sheer cliffs of the "Amphitheatre" are spectacular. We also explore the
oasis of this rugged landscape, the "Garden of Eden" with it's ancient
vegetation. In the afternoon we travel on to Alice Springs. (520 Km.)

· Day 7 - Saturday - 9 August - Alice Springs:
A free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: An early morning
Balloon Flight, a visit to the Desert Wildlife Park, an Aboriginal tour, a visit
to the Royal Flying Doctor Service or School of the Air, a Camel Ride, a walk
around the town visiting the historical sites, or enjoy yourself shopping for
souvenirs. Continental Breakfast
· Day 8 - Sunday – 10 August - Alice Springs to
Tennant Creek: This morning we drive into the Western McDonnell Ranges
and visit Simpson's Gap. Here the rugged desert landscape with it's earthy
colours is truly magnificent. Continuing north we cross the Tropic of Capricorn
and the centre of this continent. Historic settlements are passed along the way
and late in the afternoon we explore the unique Devil's Marbles region before
arriving into Tennant Creek.

· Day 9 - Monday - 11 August - Tennant Creek to
Katherine: Leaving the gold mining town of Tennant Creek behind we
continue to travel across the expanses of this big country travel. At the
historic settlement of Daly Waters we visit the oldest pub in the Northern
Territory, this definitely a special place. Later in the afternoon, the
landscape changes as we enter the higher rainfall region of the tropics and at
the small town of Mataranka we stop to enjoy a refreshing swim in it's
magnificent oasis of the thermal pools. (700 Km.) Continental Breakfast
· Day 10 - Tuesday - 12
August - Katherine to Kakadu: This
morning we travel to Nitmiluk National Park and enjoy a scenic cruise through
the picturesque Katherine Gorge. In the afternoon we enter Kakadu National Park
and view some of the giant termite mounds that are found in the tropical
woodlands. At Cooinda we visit the Warradjan Cultural centre before viewing the
sunset at Yellow Waters. (320 Km.) Continental Breakfast
· Day 11 - Wednesday - 13
August - Kakadu:
In the morning we travel to Ubirr an important area of aboriginal art and
spectacular scenery in the northern area of Kakadu. In the afternoon we drive to
Nourlangie Rock to view more of the ancient aboriginal art sites and aboriginal
living shelters. We also enjoy the fantastic views of the sandstone escarpment
country and a nature walk at a nearby billabong. Option: Yellow Waters Cruise at
4:30 pm.

· Day 12 - Thursday - 14 August – Kakadu to Darwin: We leave Kakadu today and travel to
the Adelaide River. This river is known as one of the best places to view
crocodiles so here we enjoy a wildlife and crocodile cruise for a chance to see
these ancient reptiles up close. In afternoon we arrive into the city of Darwin.

· Day 13 - Friday - 15 August - Darwin:
Today we travel to Litchfield National Park, located south of Darwin. Here you
will see the strange formations made by the Magnet Termites and enjoy swimming
in the pristine waterfalls such as Wangi Falls. Tonight in Darwin you should go
and enjoy the tropical atmosphere of the night markets at Mindil Beach.

· Day 14 - Saturday - 16 August - Darwin to Cairns:
This morning we take an early flight to the East Coast and the tropical city of
Cairns. Upon arrival there is free time to relax and explore the city. Option:
Visit to the picturesque village of Kuranda, travelling there by the Skyrail
cable-car above the tropical rainforest and returning to Cairns by the scenic
railway. Breakfast not included (Early morning flight)
· Day 15 - Sunday - 17 August - Cairns: A
free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: One of the world's
natural wonders, the coral reef of Queensland is a must. Why not take a cruise
to the reef where you can snorkel and dive across the magnificent coral
formations and view the endless varieties of colourful fish and marine life. Day
tours to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest are also another

· Day 16 - Monday - 18 Agosto - Cairns to
Townsville: Today we journey past some beautiful coastal scenery with
views across to Hinchinbrook Island. This is Australia's highest rainfall region
and we stop along the way to enjoy some of the cascades and tropical rainforest.
Late in the afternoon we reach Townsville a great city with many fine old
buildings and a waterfront esplanade with views to Magnetic Island. (370 Km.)

· Day 17 - Tuesday - 19 August - Magnetic Island:
This morning we take a short ferry ride from Townsville to the beautiful
Magnetic Island. The island is a haven for Koalas so here we spend time walking
to view them in their natural environment. In the afternoon there is time to
relax and enjoy the island beaches or the many walks in the area. There are also
opportunities to engage in a range of water sports or even horse riding.

· Day 18 - Wednesday - 20 August - Townsville to
Airlie Beach: This morning we pass by farming communities and sugar cane
fields as we head towards the gateway of the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach.
The afternoon is free to relax or enjoy a range of activities. From here you
have a oportunity to take a scenic flight above the beautiful islands of the
Great Barrier reef. (230 Km.) Continental Breakfast
· Day 19 - Thursday - 21 August - Airlie Beach:
A free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: Enjoy a sailing cruise
around the many beautiful islands of the Whitsunday's, take a snorkelling or
diving trip to the barrier reef, or enjoy the adrenaline rush of skydiving.
There are also many walks to explore the coastal national park or perhaps you
may just want to relax on the beach.

· Day 20 - Friday - 22 August - Airlie Beach to
Eungella: We leave the coast late this morning and travel through the
picturesque Pioneer Valley to Eungella National Park. High up on the mountain
range we enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. In the late
afternoon we travel to a nearby river for the opportunity to observe the world's
strangest mammal, the platypus. This is truly a unique experience. (250 Km.)

· Day 21 - Saturday - 23 August - Eungella to
Tannum Sands: This morning we view the platypus again and enjoy a short
walk through the rain forest. We then leave the wet tropics behind and pass
through open cattle country and the town of Rockhampton, also known as "The Beef
Capital of Australia". Continuing south, we cross back over the Tropic of
Capricorn and continue on to Tannum Sands situated on the Capricorn Coast. (550
Km.)

· Day 22 - Sunday - 24 August - Tannum Sands to
Hervey Bay: After leaving Tannum Sands we travel to the the cosatal town
of Hervey Bay. This area has an international reputation for being one of the
best places in the world to view Humpback Whales. This afternoon we enjoy a
whale watching cruise for an opportunity to see these sepecatcular gentle giants
in their natural environment. (280 Km.) Continental Breakfast
· Day 23 - Monday - 25 August – Fraser Island:
Today we take a ferry across to Fraser Island where we then begin a 4WD tour to
explore the world's largest sand island. We will travel through coastal
vegetation, towering rainforests and see clear freshwater lakes and streams. We
will also drive along the magnificent sandy beach with its coloured sand dunes.
The natural beauty of the island is truly spectacular. Continental Breakfast

· Day 24 - Tuesday - 26 August - Hervey Bay to
Brisbane: This morning we drive past the fruit growing areas of the
Sunshine Coast and then into the city of Brisbane. This city has many beautiful
old buildings and wonderful parks to enjoy. Along the river you can travel by
water taxi to admire the city and it's surrounding areas. This afternoon there's
also time for some last minute shopping.

· Day 25 - Tuesday - 27 August – Departure from
Brisbane: Our tour concludes today with a transfer to the airport where
we say goodbye and wish you a safe flight home. Continental Breakfast
