· Day 1 - Tuesday - 5 August - Brisbane: We
welcome you at the airport and then transfer you to your accommodation. The rest
of the day in Brisbane is free to relax and accustom yourself to the change in
time and climate. This city has many beautiful old buildings and wonderful parks
to enjoy. Along the river you can travel by water taxi to admire the city and
its surrounding areas.
(Note: Hotel check-in is 14:00, but for those who wish immediate access
to their room can do this by paying pre-registration at the cost of: 52 euros
pp. in twin share with breakfast included)
· Day 2 - Wednesday - 6 August - Brisbane to Hervey
Bay: This morning we pass the tropical fruit growing areas of the
Sunshine Coast and the town of Maryborough with its typical Queenslander, wooden
houses before reaching Hervey Bay. This area has an international reputation for
being one of the best places in the world to view Humpback Whales. This area has

opportunity to see these spectacular gentle giants in their natural environment.

· Day 3 - Thursday - 7 August - Fraser Island:
Today we take a ferry across to Fraser Island where we then begin a 4WD tour to
explore the world's largest sand island. We will travel through coastal
vegetation, towering rainforests and see clear freshwater lakes and streams. We
will also drive along the magnificent sandy beach with its coloured sand dunes.
The natural beauty of the island is truly spectacular. Continental Breakfast

· Day 4 - Friday - 8 August - Hervey Bay to
Rockhampton: Today we travel to the city of Rockhampton, Situated on the
Tropic of Capricorn this city has numerous historical buildings from itīs mining
past but today also known as the “Beef Capital of Australia”. In the afternoon
we vist the wonderful botanical gardens we you have a chance to view some of
Australia wildlife.

· Day 5 - Saturday - 9 August - Rockhampton to
Eungella: This morning we cross the Tropic of Capricorn and leave the
city of Rockhampton. Continuing north we see the landscape begin to change. The
dry open grazing country is left behind and we encounter Queensland's vast sugar
cane fields. In the afternoon we drive through the picturesque Pioneer Valley to
Eungella National Park. High up on the mountain range we enjoy spectacular views
of the surrounding landscape.

· Day 6 - Sunday - 10 August - Eungella to Airlie
Beach: In the early morning we travel to the nearby river for the
opportunity to observe the world's strangest mammal, the platypus. This is truly
a unique experience. We then leave the mountains behind and journey down to the
coast to the gateway of the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach. The afternoon is
free to relax or enjoy a range of local activities. (250 Km.) Continental

· Day 7 - Monday - 11 August - Airlie Beach:
A free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: Enjoy a sailing cruise
around the many beautiful islands of the Whitsunday's, take a snorkelling or
diving trip to the barrier reef, view the islands and coral reefs from above in
a scenic flight or while enjoying the adrenaline rush of skydiving, there are
many walks to explore the coastal national park or perhaps you may just want to

8 - Tuesday - 12 August - Airlie Beach to Townsville: This morning we
pass by farming communities and sugar cane fields as we head towards the city of
Townsville. Townsville is an important terminal for costal shipping, mining and
both road and rail transport. The city also some historic buildings and a
wonderful Esplanade. In the afternoon we drive up Castle Hill to enjoy the
panoramic view of the city and acroos to Magnetic island. (230 Km.) Buffet

· Day 9 - Wednesday - 13 August - Magnetic Island: This morning we
take a short ferry ride to the beautiful Magnetic Island. Most of the island is
National Park and a haven for Koalas so here we spend time here walking to view
them in their natural environment. From the Fort Walk we continue around to the
picturesque Horseshoe Bay. In the afternoon there's time to relax and enjoy the
beach or engage in a range of water sports or even horse riding. Continental

· Day 10 - Thursday - 14 August - Townsville to
Cairns: Our travel today takes us past some beautiful coastal scenery
with views across to Hinchinbrook Island and the mountains covered in tropical
rainforest. The landscape becomes increasingly lush as we pass through the
region of the highest rainfall in Australia. We stop to visit some of the
cascades and waterfalls of the coastal ranges on our way to Cairns.

· Day 11 - Friday - 15 August - Cairns: A
free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: One of the world's
natural wonders, the coral reef of Queensland is a must. Why not take a cruise
to the outer reef where you can snorkel and dive across the magnificent coral
formations and view the endless varieties of colourful fish and marine life. Day
tours to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest are also another

12 - Saturday - 16 August - Cairns to Darwin: This morning there is free
time to relax and explore the city. A visit to the picturesque village of
Kuranda is a great option, In the afternoon fly to Australia's northern most
city, Darwin. The capital of the Northern Territory, Darwin has a laid back
atmosphere due to its warm climate and remoteness. After settling in to your
accommodation the evening is free to explore the city. Buffet Breakfast

13 - Sunday - 17 August - Darwin:
Today we travel to Litchfield National Park, located south of Darwin.
Here you will see the strange formations made by the Magnet Termites and enjoy
swimming in the pristine waterfalls such as Wangi Falls. Tonight on Darwin you
should go and enjoy the tropical atmosphere of bars and restaurants.

· Day 14 - Monday - 18 August -
Darwin to Kakadu:
This morning take we go on a
wildlife and crocodile cruise where you have the chance to see these ancient
reptiles up close. After lunch we travel into Kakadu National Park and continue
to Ubirr, where we view some of the ancient Aboriginal living shelters and art
sites that make this such an important cultural area. In the late afternoon we
travel on to Cooinda to watch the tropical sunset over Yellow Waters. (400 Km.)

15 - Tuesday - 19 August - Kakadu:
Today we
drive to Nourlangie Rock to view more of the ancient aboriginal art sites and
living shelters of Kakadu. We also enjoy the fantastic views of the sandstone
escarpment country and a nature walk at a nearby billabong. This afternoon we
visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Option: Yellow Waters
Cruise.

· Day 16 - Wednesday - 20 August - Kakadu to
Katherine: This morning we leave Kakadu
and travel to the gold mine area of Pine Creek and then on beautiful Edith
Falls. Here we have time to enjoy and a relaxing swim in the refreshing clear
waters. Late afternoon we travel to Katherine and Nitmiluk National Park where
we enjoy a cruise through the sandstone cliffs of the picturesque Katherine

· Day 17 - Thursday - 21 August - Katherine to
Tennant Creek: Today we journey across the vast expanses of this country.
Our first stop is at the oasis of Mataranka where we enjoy the waters of the
thermal pool. At the historic settlement of Daly Waters we visit the oldest pub
in the Northern Territory, this definitely a special place. In the afternoon we
pass through remote outback roadside communities before arriving into the gold
mining town of Tennant Creek. (700 Km.) Continental Breakfast
· Day 18 - Friday - 22 August - Tennant Creek to
Alice Springs: This morning we drive to the region of the Devil's
Marbles. These huge granite boulders are amazing and look fantastic in the
morning light. Continuing south we leave the tropics behind as we cross back
over the Tropic of Capricorn. In the afternoon we visit Simpson's Gap in the
MacDonnell Ranges. The rugged landscape and earthy colours of this area are
spectacular.

· Day 19 - Saturday - 23 August - Alice Springs:
A free day for you to choose whatever you like. Options: An early morning
Balloon Flight, a visit to the Desert Wildlife Park, an Aboriginal tour, a visit
to the Royal Flying Doctor Service or School of the Air, a Camel Ride, a walk
around the town visiting the historical sites, or enjoy yourself shopping for
souvenirs. Continental Breakfast
· Day 20 - Sunday - 24 August - Alice Springs to
Kings Canyon: Up early today, we journey through the Red Centre to the Watarraka National Park. A 4 hour walk here allows us plenty of time to explore
the magnificent Kings Canyon. The striking rock formations of the "Lost City"
and sheer cliffs of the "Amphitheatre" are spectacular. We also explore the
oasis of this rugged landscape, the "Garden of Eden" with it's ancient
vegetation.

· Day 21 - Monday - 25 August - Kings Canyon to
Ayers Rock: Today we travel to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and
visit Uluru (Ayers Rock). Here we walk along the Mala Walk to view ancient
paintings and sacred sites. There will be time for a walk around the base or a
climb up (the traditional owners would prefer that you do not climb). We then
travel to the sunset viewing area to marvel at it's awesome grandeur and watch
as the setting sun cast its colours across "The Rock". (360 Km.) Continental

· Day 22 - Tuesday - 26 August - Ayers Rock to
Sidney: Today we get up early to watch the sunrise on "The Rock". We also
visit the Aboriginal cultural centre for an insight into the spiritual
significance of this area for the local people. We then travel to the
spectacular formation known as “The Olgas” to walk the valley of the Winds. At
mid-day we arrive at Ayers Rock airport for our flight to Sydney. After our
transfer to city there is free time to explore. (130 Km.)

· Day 23 - Wednesday - 27 August - Sydney:
This morning we will begin a walking tour through the city and its major
attractions. We will visit the Botanical Gardens, the Opera House and Circular
Quay. In the afternoon we cruise across the magnificent harbour to visit the
seaside suburb of Manly and its surf beach. Returning late in the afternoon we
see the setting sun silhouette the city skyline and the majestic Harbour Bridge.

· Day 24 - Thursday - 28 August - Sydney: A
free day for you to choose what ever you like. Options: Visit the Darling
Harbour area, enjoy the fantastic Sydney Aquarium, view the city from the
heights of Centre Point Tower or the mono-rail, visit the many wonderful museums
or you might prefer to just relax and enjoy some city shopping. Buffet

· Day 25 - Thursday - 29 August - Departure from
Sydney: Our tour concludes today with a transfer to the airport where we
say goodbye and wish you a safe flight home. Buffet Breakfast
